1st line of Chengdu Subway was trailed into operation on 1st Oct this year. One month later, Chengdu enters subway era. The 1st stage began construction on 28th Dec 2005. Two big hydraulic grabs excavated the first soil in Nansanhuang Station. From then, Chengdu entered new era of“tridimensional traffic”. In Aug. 2010, interior operational train took only 33min from the South to the North. The fast, stable, punctual and official operation trail will bring Chengdu to its subway era.
